Georgetown Art Works will be facilitating several juried exhibits and the annual Art Hop competition.  Below is the list of active Call For Art opportunities for Georgetown Art Works.

2016 Art Hop

Entries Due Date:  August 28, 2016
Eligibility:  Texas Resident and 18 years or older
Exhibit Dates: September 30 to October 29, 2016
Artist Reception : October 1, 2016 – 2 to 5 PM

Awards Ceremony : October 1, 2016 – 4 PM

Entry Fee:  $10 per piece of art

Maximum Entries per Artist: 5

The Georgetown Art Center is now accepting art submissions for our annual juried show, Art Hop.

Little Boxes Exhibit

Entries Due Date:  December 10, 2015 – CLOSED
Eligibility:  18 years or older
Exhibit Dates: January 29 to February 28, 2016
Artist Reception : January 30, 2016 – 7 to 9 PM
Entry Fee:  $10 per piece of art
Maximum Entries per Artist: 5

The Georgetown Art Center is now accepting art submissions for the “Little Boxes'” Exhibit. We are looking for submissions that are inspired by Little Boxes, a protest song written and composed by Malvina Reynolds in 1962, which became a hit for her friend Pete Seeger in 1963.  Little Boxes is an exhibit that is open to any art medium. Artists that reside in the United States only.

 

Stereotypes Exhibit

Entries Due Date:  February 28, 2016 – CLOSED
Eligibility:  18 years or older
Exhibit Dates: April 15 to May 29, 2016
Artist Reception : April 16, 2016 – 7 to 9 PM
Entry Fee:  $10 per piece of art
Maximum Entries per Artist: 5

The Georgetown Art Center is now accepting art submissions for the Stereotypes Exhibit. Stereotypes is an exhibit open to photographers.

We are currently in search of photographs that either support or challenge people’s pre-conceived stereotypes.
