Watercolors Take Flight with Lisa Miller

August 24th and 25th, 2024, $220 for two days

Join artist Lisa L. Miller to interpret birds painted in watercolors. You will take an expressive approach with this intuitive media to explore the historical significance of birds in art. This class is aimed at artists with an intermediate understanding of watercolors. Artists will create two half sheet paintings during this two-day workshop and learn color theory using a limited palette. If you are a nature lover or bird enthusiast then this is the workshop for you.

Lisa is an Art Educator with years of experience teaching a loose and expressive approach to this colorful media.  She is retired from teaching Art in the public school system after 20 years and has taught adult students for over 30 years. Her work can be viewed on her Facebook and Instagram pages at the Laughing Parrot Studio.

Seating is limited to ten participants with six students required for the workshop to make. (Register ASAP, this class is almost half full.)

A supply list will be provided upon registration.
