Our Mission

Georgetown Art Works provides innovative, intelligent exhibits, and programs that promote visual literacy in the greater community.

  • Our Organization

Georgetown Art Works is a community 501(c)(3) Texas nonprofit organization created by local artists over a decade and a half ago.

Its board and members—volunteers all—strive to enrich the arts within the larger community of Georgetown and the surrounding Central Texas area.

  • Our Exhibits

GAW offers exhibits, artist talks, and receptions all free to the public. Our exhibits range from solo shows to group shows with a singular topic or theme. We rely on superlative local artists to rate and select the art we show.

Annually, GAW mounts Art Hop. Now in its 17th year, this juried shows features hundreds of artworks from Texas artists in multiple categories for cash and othe prizes and is one of the best places in Texas to catch rising stars.

  • Annual Supporters

When you become an annual supporter of the Georgetown Art Works, you are helping to enrich the arts and culture of our community.

And to thank you for your support, the GAW provides one-of-a-kind events and experiences exclusively for our annual supporters.

  • Our Board and Members

Georgetown Art Works relies on a dedicated group of volunteers from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. From marketing to local artists, to finance professionals, their dedicated guidance helps to ensure the GAW and all of its initiatives are successful.
